Jamshedpur: Motilal Nehru Public School organised Star awards to felicitate star performers. Students Shaily Jain and Shivam Jha bagged scholarships of Rs 7000 each.
A career guidance programme was also organised on the occasion where the following speakers addressed the students of class X & XI on various career options. Speakers included Vinay Singh of IAS Academy, Shonali Goswami of Lufthansa Travels and Rentals, N Mohan of XLRI and Nora Sammad of People For Change.
Topics addressed were careers in allied services, defence, sustainability management, offbeat careers in the science stream, development sector , and media. Parents and students appreciated the programme.
