Jamshedpur, August 22: Hill Top School of Saturday celebrated Mother�s Day in the school premises. At the event total of 156 participants were present 78 nursery students and their mothers (78). The event began with a warm welcome by the teachers of Hill Top School.
The mothers were acquainted with the various requirements of the school. At the event school counsellors gave tips to the mothers on proper parenting followed by Safety Awareness Quiz relating to general safety in school, for the mothers. There was a variety of entertaining contests for Mother-Child teams, like Healthy Tiffin, Crown Making, Family Collage.
A surprise event called �Bursting the Balloons� where the children enjoyed bursting balloons to their glory was also held. Mothers of the Nursery students also danced and sang.
The children as well as the mothers participated enthusiastically in all the events. In Healthy Tiffin contest- first Prize went to Trisha Prasad / Mrs. Priyanka Prasad (Nursery Giraffe) while Ayushman / Mrs. Manju Gupta (Nursery Penguin) bagged the second position.
In Crown Making- Md. Ayan Iqbal / Mrs. Rukshana Bano (Nursery Penguin) were the winners followed by Anushree / Mrs. Anjali Sharma (Nursery Goldfish). In Family Collage- Aaradhya Dubey / Mrs. Sushmita Dubey (Nursery Giraffe) won the first position while Vihan / Mrs. Rekha (Nursery Penguin) came second.
In Bursting the Balloons- Tushangi Paul / Mrs. Sangita Paul (Nursery Giraffe) were crowned winners while V Chetan / Mrs. V shobha (Nursery Dalmatians) were the runners-up. The program ended with prize distribution ceremony
