Mother’s Day celebration at Sheyn International School

Jamshedpur, May 13: Sheyn International School in Jamshedpur celebrated Mother’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The day was dedicated to celebrating the everlasting bond of love and affection between a mother and child. Teachers at the school organized various activities and presentations to instill the importance of mothers in a child’s life.

The students from Standard III to Standard VIII participated in making beautiful greeting cards for their mothers and came up with innovative ideas to show their love and appreciation. The outcome of their efforts was impressive, and the air was filled with heartwarming feelings of intimacy, gratitude, appreciation, and acknowledgement of a mother’s role in the lives of young Sheynites.

The celebration started with a cake cutting ceremony dedicated to all mothers, followed by a ramp walk by all the super moms. The highlight of the day was the cook without fire activity and the Bowling game. Three mothers were crowned with titles, with Vijeta Sinha, the mother of Rohan of Nursery winning the title of ‘Beauty Queen,’ Archana Sen, the mother of Mithu Sen of Std II, crowned as ‘Mother Fairy,’ and Rajkumari Sharma, the mother of Bhavika Sharma, Std I, declared as the ‘Mother Queen.’

The school’s Principal (Administration), Pushpa Bhalla, encouraged the children to inculcate virtuous deeds and resort to ethical ways that make their parents happy and contented. The Principal (Academics), Rama Srinivas, explained the super moms’ activity and how they handle a variety of demands thrown at them in quick succession. The Vice-Principal, Keya Adak, and the Head Mistress, Simran Saggu, extended their warm greetings to all the mothers and educators present on this exuberant and joyous celebration. Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable day for all the mothers and children at Sheyn International School. The celebration left an indubitable mark on the innocent hearts of the students, reminding them of the importance of their mothers in their lives.
