Mother’s Day at Govind Vidyalaya glorifies mother-child bond

Jamshedpur, May 15: Mother’s Day was celebrated in Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia with programmes designed to glorify the perpetual mother-child bond. The celebrations commenced with extracts of verses from several religious scriptures as tribute to mothers whose immeasurable and incomparable contribution to their children’s lives was the greatest gift from the Creator. Students of classes 6 along with those between classes 9 and 12 presened several songs and a short play to make the Mother’s Day celebration at Govind Vidyalaya in Tamolia a memorable occasion. Sara Ali and Zara Khan anchored the entire event. Teachers Ismat Naaz and Khushnasiba coordinated the celebratory proceedings.

School Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak and Activity In-charge Naushad Razia were among those present during the Mother’s Day function. Sarah Ali proposed the vote of thanks.
