Mother, daughter electrocuted near Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 15 : Mother and daughter died due to electrocution in the wire used to dry the clothes of the house.

 As soon as a wet cloth was put on it, there was an electric shock. Seeing the mother electrocuted, the daughter went to save her and she too got electrocuted. Both died on the spot due to electrocution. This incident is of the constable line of Musabani police station area of Jamshedpur on Saturday morning.

As soon as the neighbors came to know about the incident, all gathered on the spot. A crowd of people gathered to see the dead bodies.

According to preliminary information, mother Baso Soren and her daughter Malti Soren lived in the residence of Sipahi Line in Musabani police station area. It is likely that early in the morning 65-year-old Baso Soren took a bath and went to give clothes to dry and current was coming in the wire on which the clothes were given to dry. Due to electrocution, the woman started shouting. The daughter went to save her mother in agony. Mother and daughter died in a short time.

The people around reached the spot after hearing the sound. In a hurry the power was cut. People informed the incident to Musabani police station and police send the body to Ghatshila sub-division hospital for postmortem.

Neighbors told that both mother and daughter used to live together in a house located in a constable line in Musabani. The sons of the deceased work as laborers in Gujarat. The local people have informed the incident to the son.
