Only a few Rs 250 and Rs 350 denominations available
Jamshedpur, Oct. 14: The first home game of Jamshedpur FC is set to witness a jam-packed JRD Tata Sports Complex as more than 22,000 tickets for the Indian Super League (ISL) match to be played between JFC and ATK on October 21, have been sold.
The offline ticket sale which started on October 7 saw JFC fans in large number queue up outside the counters to grab the tickets for the opening game of the ISL season 5 at Jamshedpur.
According to a Jamshedpur FC official, the response has been great every since the online and offline ticket sale started and first game is all set to be a cracker of a match with houseful crowd.
‘Rs 350 denomination tickets for East lower, North West lower and South West lower are selling fast while very few tickets are left for East Upper (Rs 250) stand. Several stands have been sold out including Rs.200 denomination tickets for South West upper & North West upper stand along with Rs 50 denomination tickets for South stand and North stand’, added the official.
Another JFC official who looks after the operations and ticketing aspect informed that the total capacity of the stadium is 23,000 and remaining tickets will be sold within a couple of days.
It may be mentioned that Jamshedpur FC is the first team in Indian Super League (ISL) 2018-19 whose tickets have been sold out for a match.
According to data, Delhi Dynamos sold 1200 tickets for their home match while North East United sold 5000 tickets.
Last year also Jamshedpur FC home matches saw 94% attendance and with good performances put up by the boys against Mumbai City FC and Bengaluru FC, furnace is ready to erupt.
