Jamshedpur, May 6: ADLS Sunshine School, Sakchi, organized Counselling Prize Nite ‘Moharik 2017’ at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur on Friday.
On the occasion students were given tips on how to remain stress free and what steps the school is taking to help reduce stress among the students.
Chief guest for the occasion was general manager of TMH Dr. Rajendra Choudhary while guest of honour were indoor medical services chief of TMH Dr. DP Samadar and Psychiatrist Dr. Farhad Balsara. The programme Moharik boasted the theme Trauma to Triumph.
Students participated in a smiley procession. Addressing the gathering, principal of the school Indrani Singh said, we have hired a full time counselor so that students keep smiling and remain stress free and we have been benefiting a lot form this.
‘School counsellor Tulika Mukherjee developed psychological tests for children of different age groups to assess their abilities and weaknesses.
Those in need were counselled and encouraged. The results are showing”, she added.
At the conclusion of the programme 76 students were awarded. Harsh Kumar of class VIII bagged the smile students of the year award.
