Jamshedpur: United Football Association is going to host Mohan Memorial Flood Light Football Tournament at DVC ground, Manifit, on 1st October. A total of 32 teams will participate in the tournament. This was informed by Prashant Singh, organizer of the event, here on Saturday.
Singh said so far 18 teams have expressed their willingness to participate in the tournament. The entry fee for the teams participating in the tournament is Rs 2001. The winning team will get a cash prize of Rs 30,000 while the runner-up team will get Rs 20,000. The organizers will also felicitate the Man of the Match, Best Scorer and Best Goalkeeper of the event. The matches will be conducted by the refereers of Jamshedpur Sporting Association.
The chief guest of the inaugural function will be state food minister Saryu Roy. Other dignitaries invited for the event include district BJP president Dinesh Kumar and Tata Workers Union president R Ravi Prasad.
