Modi’s swearing-in celebrated across the city

Jamshedpur, May 26: BJP offices all over the city were decorated with lights, flowers and several screens were put up as BJP workers watched Live the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi who was sworn-in as 15th Prime Minister of India on Monday, May 26.

As the Rashtrapati Bhavan was buzzing with activities the Bhartiya Janta Party workers celebrated the swearing-of Prime Minister Narendra Modi like the Diwali festival, by illuminating the party offices, bursting crackers and distributed sweets among the people on Monday evening.

The party office near Basant Talkies in Sakchi was lively as BJP workers along with residents of the area, shop owners and customers participated in the celebration. One of the shop owners who were watching the swearing-in ceremony on the big screen said, today is a historic day for our country and we hope the new Modi government takes out of nation from all the corruption and misdeeds of the previous government.

A resident of the area said that we are celebrating �end of ten years of Congress rule� and the new government led by Modi will surely help the country in achieving the target growth and control the price rise in a country where more than half of the population is middle class.

Every nook and corner of the city was buzzing with activities as BJP workers were busy distributing sweets and bursting crackers in celebration of BJP government coming to power.

Gujarati�s of the city were not behind as they celebrated the occasion with enthusiasm at Gujarati Sanatan Samaj in Bistupur were the people of the society along with their families danced, distributed sweets and burst crackers to make the day more special.

Most sections of the people believe that the new government would usher in economic revival and the mood was generally upbeat.
