Jamshedpur, June 1: BJP-led Central government is sensitive to problems being faced by farmers and defence personnel of the country. It has started taking measures to resolve these issues by giving them top priority. This was observed by the district BJP president Dinesh Kumar.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Kumar said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had enhanced the purview of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana by proposing to pay Rs 6000 to every farmer on an annual basis. The decision would benefit 14.5 crore farmers of the state.
Kumar also praised the PM for granting approval to pension scheme for small traders. He said the government had also taken a praiseworthy decision in favour of children of martyrs and defence personnel by increasing the scholarship given to them.
