Jamshedpur: Students of Jr. Heritage club of Motilal Nehru Public School visited the Tribal cultural centre, Sonari. It was an enriching experience for the students.
A workshop was also conducted by Xavier Topno, who explained to the students about the tribals and their culture, how they lived and survived for food. Students understood the comparative growth of cultures of the various Indian tribes.
Romil Bhengra of Tribal Cultural Centre showed a short documentary film on the culture of various tribes of India, Canada, Malaysia etc. It was a great experience for the students to know about the existence of such cultures in our neighborhood. The Junior Heritage Club moderator Sunita Sharma accompanied 35 students to the Tribal Cultural Centre.
