MNAC team visits 20 Durga Puja venues

Jamshedpur: A team of Mango Notified Area Committee (MNAC) officials led by the special officer Sanjay Kumar paid an inspection visit to 20 under-construction Durga Puja pandals in Mango on Tuesday. He sought updates on various facilities being made available at the puja venues such as lighting and drinking water. He directed the various agencies of MNAC to ensure cleanliness at puja venues. He said the agencies not doing their work sincerely would be blacklisted and relieved from all responsibilities. He appealed to the puja committees to make sure that dustbins are installed at puja venues. He also stressed on ensuring fire safety in pandals. The places Kumar visited included Pardih, Jawaharnagar, Madhav Bag, Vasundhara Estate, Narayan Goswami Puja Pandal, Buddha Mandal Pandal, Moon City, Jharkhand Colony, Dimna Road and Sankosai.
