MNAC recognises women workers

Jamshedpur, March 8: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Mango Notified Area Committee recognised its women workers.  Special officer Deepak Sahay presented gifts to the women workers and congratulated them on Women’s Day. Renu Devi, a sweeper who does cleaning work for MNAC  cut the cake. As part of the function, sweets, cakes etc. were distributed among the women workers. In the program, the officer said that the respect of women leads to self-respect. The contribution of women in every sphere of society cannot be forgotten.

Women should be aware of their rights. Many schemes are being run by the government under MNAC to make women self-reliant, self-employed and self-reliant, in which self-employment is being provided by connecting many poor women and special focus is being given to women in giving benefits of schemes. The official said that women should never give up, they should keep moving forward in their goals. Women city managers, CO, CRP etc. were present in the program.
