Jamshedpur, Mar 26: Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu strongly criticized the state government in the Jharkhand Assembly on Tuesday for failing to release the examination calendar as promised by the Chief Minister. Despite five months passing since the new government took office, the exam calendar has not been issued, creating uncertainty among job aspirants. She questioned the government’s silence on this matter, highlighting the growing concerns of candidates who have been waiting for recruitment exams.
Purnima Sahu also raised serious concerns about the repeated leaks of question papers in the Joint Graduate Level Examination (CGL) and the re-examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). She condemned the government’s failure to prevent such irregularities, stating that these incidents jeopardize the future of lakhs of youth. Demanding strict action, she called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the JSSC question paper leak to ensure accountability and prevent recurrence.
“The government’s inaction is playing with the future of our youth. There is no clarity on the exam calendar and repeated paper leaks are raising serious questions about transparency and governance,” Sahu stated in the Assembly.
She urged the government to take immediate steps to restore faith in the examination system, stressing that failure to act would continue to undermine the credibility of recruitment processes. The MLA reiterated that only a thorough CBI investigation could bring justice to the affected candidates and ensure a fair and transparent system in the future.
