Seraikela, May 7: On Sunday, MLA Dashrath Gagarai laid the foundation stone of the bridge to be built on Sanjay River between Kolabira and Chamaru under Kharsawan assembly constituency. This bridge, to be built under the Mukhyamantri Gram Setu Yojana, will be completed in one and a half years at a cost of about six and a half crore rupees. MLA Gagarai said that the construction of a bridge on the river between Kolabira and Chamaru was a long-standing demand of the people. With the construction of this bridge, the people of the four panchayats of Chamaru, Tentoposhi, Narayanpur and Banddih will be able to commute easily across the river. With the construction of the bridge, the distance between these panchayats and industrial cities of Adityapur and Jamshedpur will lessen by over 25 kms. The MLA on the occasion also added that he was making efforts for the all-round development of the area and Chamaru village. Gagarai also laid the foundation stone of 300 feet PCC road construction work in Chamaru from the MLA fund. He added that the due to no road people have to face a lot of trouble during the famous Bhokta Mela in the Chaitra festival. With the construction of the road, there will be convenience in the movement of common people along with the devoyees. Before this, the rural women and men gave a grand welcome to the MLA.
