MLA lays foundation of three projects in Potka

Potka: Potka MLA Menka Sardar laid the foundation stone of three projects in different villages of Potka on Wednesday. The projects include the construction of a culvert over a drain in Tiring Tola, Khernasai, renovation of a government pond in Kowali panchayat and renovation of another small pond in Chhota Baglata in Hensda panchayat. A total amount of Rs 62.23 lakh would be spent on these projects.

In her address, the MLA said the Central and state governments were committed to the development of villages in Jharkhand. �The government is improving infrastructure for providing irrigation facilities and accessibility to various villages with the view to make the villagers self-dependent. The demand for bridge in Tiring was long-pending. There are many schools in the way. Developing each and every village of Potka is top on my priority list. The development and welfare works will continue in the block in the coming days,� he said.
