Sanjib to contribute Rs 10k monthly from His Salary for Library Operations
Jamshedpur, Sept 14: Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar inaugurated the Zaira Umbul Free Coaching-Cum-Library on Sunday at the cultural building under Janamdih Panchayat of Kowali police station area. The initiative aims to provide free education and study resources to students and unemployed youth in the region.
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of a large number of villagers, including Mukhiya Kalipdo Sardar, Panchayat Samiti member Raghunath Sardar, and Gram Pradhan Buganu Sardar.
Under this initiative, graduate youth from the village will teach students from Classes I to XI free of cost every day. The library will also serve as a preparation hub for educated unemployed youth aspiring for competitive examinations.
Speaking at the event, MLA Sardar appreciated the efforts of local youth and said, “Education is not just bookish knowledge, but the basis of character-building, critical thinking, and positive contribution to society. It opens doors of opportunity, encourages personal development, and removes the darkness of ignorance.”
He further assured that benches, desks, and computers would be arranged to create a better educational environment. To strengthen the project’s sustainability, the MLA announced that he will personally contribute Rs 10,000 from his salary every month for the library’s operations.
