CII Jamshedpur Chapter Appoints New Leadership in Annual General Meeting
Jamshedpur, Feb 17: Diloo Vipin Parikh, Director of Vaidehi Motors Pvt. Ltd and Mithila Motors Pvt Ltd, has been appointed the Chairman of CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council. Ravindra Kulkarni, Plant Head, Tata Motors Jamshedpur has been made Vice-Chairman of the council.
The appointments were made during the Annual General Meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Zonal Council held at city hotel on Friday.
The leadership transition comes as Diloo Vipin Parikh takes over from the outgoing zonal chairman, TRF MD Umesh Kumar Singh.
Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council Ujjal Chakraborti, present at the meeting, emphasized the role of MSMEs in Jamshedpur’s development, urging collaboration between industry stakeholders and the administration for mutual growth. The meeting witnessed the presence of key figures, including Vice Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council Ranjot Singh, former CII Jharkhand State Presidents Tapas Sahu and Killol Kamani, along with State and Zonal Council members.
Diloo Parikh hails from Jamshedpur. Born and brought up in Jamshedpur and associated with family business of automobile dealerships of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and Tata Motors commercial vehicles. A Loyola alumnus, Parikh is affiliated with various organizations, including the Air Passengers Association of India (APAI) and the Dealer Advisory Committee. His accolades include excellence awards from Tata Motors, Economic Times Now, and CNBC TV 18.
Ravindra Kulkarni, the newly appointed Vice President, brings over three decades of diverse experience to the role. Joining Tata Motors in 1994, he has been pivotal in manufacturing, kaizen, and the introduction of new products, currently overseeing the Jamshedpur plant. Kulkarni’s expertise lies in Manufacturing and Planning, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen, contributing significantly to the business’s profitability.
