Jamshedpur: Bharatiya Janata Party leaders of Kolhan have intensified ground work to ensure victory in 2019. As a part of the ongoing organizational efforts, the newly elected Rajya Sabha MP and in-charge of BJP Kolhan unit, Sameer Oraon held a meeting with the Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP leaders.
According to party souces, several key points pertaining to strengthening of party base and formulation of strategy for reaching out to voters were discussed in great detail during the meeting. Oraon issued a host of instructions to the party leaders who included several former district presidents.
Addressing the meeting, Oraon said assembly constituency level teams of convenors would be formed soon. He said the convenors� committee would be expanded shortly so that the role of its members could be determined. He said a host of conferences involving beneficiaries of various government schemes and intellectuals would be held in the coming days. He further asked the party workers to intensify the ongoing Sampark For Samarthan campaign of the BJP.
Oraon said the party workers should take feedback of outstanding sportspersons, retired judges, social works, doctors, teachers and representatives of trade and commerce bodies and other important members of the society on the policies of the Central and state governments.
Earlier, Oraon was felicitated by the district BJP leaders.
Among those present on the occasion included Chandrashekhar Mishra, Vinod Singh, Nandjee Prasad, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Sandeep Mishra, Bari Murmu and Rakesh Kumar Singh.
