Missing DAV NIT student traced ‘safely’ in Odisha

Jamshedpur, July 29. Aryan, a missing class eight student of DAV NIT School located in Adityapur, has been traced by the police in Odisha and claimed to be ‘safe’ by the police.

A special team of police of Adityapur police station has left for Odisha to bring Aryan back. The police is likely to reach Adityapur with Aryan on Friday late night.

Incidentally, Aryan had left home late on Thursday evening to study tuition on a bicycle. After that he did not return home. Troubled by this, Aryan’s family members searched for him a lot. After that the matter reached the police station. Taking immediate action, the police started a t search for Aryan. They also went to Chakradharpur in search of Aryan. Meanwhile, his cycle was found near the Adityapur railway gate.

The family members were apprehensive of something untoward. However, on the contrary, the police was believing that the matter could be something else.

Adityapur police station in-charge Rajan Kumar had claimed that it could be a case of running away from home.

Aryan’s name and address along with his photograph were sent to the police stations in neighboring states. The eyes of the police were on every railway station and bus stand. The Railway Police rescued Aryan at the railway station of Odisha. After that he was handed over to the Odisha Child Welfare Committee (CWC). However, till then the Odisha Police did not even know that it was the same student who had gone missing from Adityapur. Meanwhile, Adityapur police station in-charge was constantly in touch with the officers of the police stations of neighboring districts. At the same time, an Odisha Police officer contacted the station in-charge Rajan Kumar and shared Aryan’s picture. Not only this, Adityapur police station in-charge also got that student to talk on the phone.
