Jamshedpur, Oct 6: Miscreants damaged two cars parked in front of a house of a resident at Kharangajhar near Telco Colony under Telco police station area on Monday midnight. The culprit damaged the cars by throwing stones. The victim Jowhar Devnath, the one whose cars were damaged, lodged complaints against anti-social elements in the locality.
Apart from damaging the cars, the goons also stoned the house of Devnath after they had come to know that the victim had led a group of 15 local residents to lodge complaints against them. After damaging his cars, the hooligans who residents of the adjoining Jyotinagar fled the scene.
Devnath a businessman by profession on Tuesday lodged an FIR against half-a-dozen miscreants, naming three of the accused. Those whose names figured in the FIR are Chotku Prasad, Roshan Kumar and Vijay Gaunder, all residents of Jyotinagar.
According to information, Devnath house is opposite Kharangajhar Community Ground. After late in the evening, the community ground turns into gathering of the anti-social elements who remain gathered there till late in the night during which they not only booz, but also indulge in gambling.
