Minority teachers meet Neera Yadav for Seventh Pay benefits

Jamshedpur: A delegation comprising members of Jharkhand State Minority Teachers� Association met the state education minister Neera Yadav on Saturday to demand implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission�s recommendations.

The teachers said the benefits of the revised payscale should be given to the teachers without any further delay. They said the teachers of minority schools should be given their due benefits without fail to ensure they given their best on duty.

The state vice president of the teachers� union Dhirendra Kumar said a file regarding implementation of the Seventh Payscale had been sent to the HRD secretary but it was sent back over some query.
