Jamshedpur: The parents of a 17 year-old boy, Abhijeet Thakur, a class X student of Indira School, Bagbera suffering from a severe kidney ailment, have appealed to the people of steel city for financial help to meet the expenses of the minor�s treatment.
They said the doctors had put the estimated cost of Abhijeet�s treatment at Rs 10 lakh. The minor�s father Umesh Thakur, a barber by profession, is unable to bear the expense of his son�s treatment urgently required to save his life.
He has been approached by Zila Parishad member Rajkumar Singh and helped with Rs 10,000 in cash. The MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato gave Rs 5000 to the boy�s father.
