During the inspection, the Minister and MLA inquired about the situation from the departmental officers and were directed to complete the remaining works going on there at the earliest.

Briefing reporters after the inspection, Banna Gupta said that in the past also he has inspected the railway overbridge.

“ The work is going on at a brisk pace. Necessary instructions have already been given to the officials. This is a very important road for the general public and the construction of ROB in it will not only bring convenience to the people of Jugsalai but also to Bagbera and far-flung areas. Preparations are being made to improve the water and electricity system in these areas,” said Gupta.

The minister further said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s belief is not to disturb residents.

“We do not believe in displacement but in rehabilitation. Therefore, it is our goal to prepare this overbridge and dedicate it to the public as soon as possible. Apart from this, a plan is also being worked on to construct a road parallel to the rail line from Jugsalai underbridge to Jugsalai via the proposed ROB so that the traffic system of Jugsalai can be improved,” added Gupta.

On this occasion, Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industries vice-president Mukesh Mittal said that due to the construction of railway overbridge, pedestrians will face lot of trouble and for this he suggested that a foot over bridge should be constructed. On which the minister and the MLA assured that this problem would be resolved after talking to the railway officials.

On this occasion, a delegation of All India Gaddi Samaj, Jharkhand, under the leadership of Mohammad Fareed Gaddi, met the minister and MLA and submitted a memorandum for the rehabilitation of the displaced shopkeepers in the course of construction of railway over bridge.

During this, MLA Mangal Kalindi said that our government is committed to development.

“The government has allocated 55 lakh rupees for the settlement of the poor. Whatever pending issues are there, they will be resolved soon by coordinating with Minister Banna Gupta because he himself is very serious about this matter. Now Jugsalai is being given a big gift by completing the work in a smooth manner. The previous government displaced people in a hurry in the name of ROB, now we are rehabilitating them,” said Kalindi.
