Minimum Bid for Parking at Disneyland Fair at Sakchi fixed at ₹2.47 lakh

Jamshedpur: The minimum bid for awarding the parking contract at the upcoming Disneyland fair to be organised at Aam Bagan ground in Sakchi has been fixed at ₹2,47,890. The open bidding process will be conducted on April 18 at 4:00 PM by the concerned authorities.

According to officials, the contractor who submits the highest bid during the auction will be granted the right to collect parking fees for a duration of 45 days. The fee collection will be strictly limited to the designated parking zones identified for visitors attending the fair.

In a proactive move, the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has initiated the bidding process well in advance of the fair. The decision aims to ensure systematic parking arrangements and prevent congestion in and around the venue.

Authorities stated that the step has been taken to streamline traffic management and minimize inconvenience to city residents, especially in view of the large footfall expected during the fair period. Proper marking of parking areas and regulated fee collection are expected to bring better discipline and ease vehicular movement in the area.
