Jamshedpur: A mini multiplex will soon open in Bindal Mall on Sonari Marine Drive. To provide an entertainment outlet to the city’s residents, Siddhi Vinayak Entertainment Agency has applied for a license to the East Singhbhum DC office.
The DC has requested inspection reports from officials from various departments, including the building, fire, municipal corporation, and electricity department, seeking clearance for opening of the mini multiplex.
An inspection of the unit is scheduled for the project soon. The mini multiplex cinema hall will feature all modern amenities. A Dolby sound system has been installed to provide an immersive 3D experience, especially for children and the general public watching action movies, cartoons, animations, space and jungle movies, and more. The multiplex will feature two screens with a 50-seat capacity each.
Full-length VIP seats will be located in the front, allowing for reclining seats for moviegoers. The opening of the mini multiplex in the city will create 25 direct and 250 indirect employment opportunities.
“After receiving reports from the relevant departments, including fire and electricity, a recommendation report will be sent to the department to open a multiplex at Sonari Bindal Mall. Upon receiving approval, the agency will be issued a license as per the regulations,” said Chandrajeet Singh, Cinema Magistrate, East Singhbhum.
