Ghatshila, August 20: Mines Secretary of Union Ministry Vivek Bhardwaj on Sunday reached the Director Bungalow of Indian Copper Complex, a unit of Hindustan Copper Limited, located in Maubhandar, Ghatshila.
Vivek Bhardwaj along with HCL CMD Ghanshyam Sharma and director (mines) Sanjeev Kumar Singh left for Surda to physically inspect the copper mines of ICC Company.
According to the information, after the inspection, a meeting will be held with the Chief Secretary and Mines Secretary of Jharkhand in Ranchi on Monday regarding the issue related to mines.
This visit has raised hopes among the workers associated with ICC. With the visit of the Mines Secretary, the employees are hopeful that the efforts to reopen the mines of the closed Musabani Group of Mines will accelerate.
Incidentally, mines have been closed for a long time due to different reasons. The visit of the Mines Secretary can prove to be important in the direction of starting it.
Recently, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Mahato met the Mines Secretary and demanded a concrete initiative in this direction soon. In such a situation, it is expected that the visit of the Secretary of Mines can prove to be a boon for the ICC in the coming days.
