MGNREGS workers agitate before Menka�s residence

Jamshedpur: Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) workers staged a demonstration before the residence of Potka MLA Menka Sardar in Hata, Potka, on Sunday in support of their various demands.
The agitators mainly demanded regularization of services and equal pay for equal work. They said their demands were justified and that the same should be fulfilled without delay. They handed over a five-point memorandum to the MLA.
The agitation programme was led by the district president of Jharkhand State MGNREGS Employees Association, Sahdev Mahato.
Among those present during the agitation included Ajay Kumar, BK Mahato, Rajesh Kumar, Amit Kumar, Ghasiram Mahato and Sanjay Sinha.
