Jamshedpur, April 26: The Department of History at MGM College organized a drama competition themed on, ‘Reminiscing the Past’ at the college auditorium.
Madam Temjenzungla Aier, Assistant Professor of the Department of History, chaired the event, while Sir Fuchumo Yanthan, HoD of the Department of History, delivered the welcome speech. Addressing the audience, Sir Yanthan urged students to cherish their cultural heritage while embracing modernity.
Rev. Dr. Fr. Shibu Varghese, Principal of MGM College, emphasized the importance of preserving cultural traditions and reconnecting with history amidst contemporary society’s challenges.
Three groups participated in the drama competition, with Group 1 emerging victorious. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. David, Assistant Professor of the Department of History.
