Jamshedpur, October 10: A heartfelt memorial ceremony was held today at the Tata Steel Zoological Park to honor the late Ratan Tata (28.12.1937 – 09.10.2024), our beloved Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons and a visionary leader whose contributions to Indian industry and society have left an indelible mark.
The memorial ceremony, which took place in the serene surroundings of the Tata zoo, was attended by officials of the Tata zoo, security officials and visitors. The event began with a floral tribute as attendees offered flowers to a framed photograph of Ratan Tata, which was prominently displayed at the venue.
A moment of silence was observed as a mark of respect, followed by a small speech by Dr. Manik Palit, Deputy Director (Vet), TSZP, commemorating Ratan Tata’s extraordinary life and legacy. His philanthropic contributions, social initiatives, and business achievements were fondly remembered, with particular emphasis on his work in uplifting communities, advancing education, and fostering innovation in India.
