Jamshedpur, August 28: Zila Parishad member Kishore Yadav on Sunday visited several houses at Road no. 1 of Bagbera Colony for making members for the garbage pick-up facilities in the area.
Also present were sub head Sunil Gupta, Dhananjay Singh, Ward member Bhavnath Singh, social worker Sharwan Mishra, Manoj Jha, Manoj Rai, neeraj, Rajesh, Suraj and several locals.
On the occasion Bagbera Mahanagar basti Vikas Samiti President Subodh Jha, AJSU leader Deepu pandey, former head Binod Singh, Sales tax advocate Sanjay, BJP leader Shailesh Singh along with others assured their full support and were enrolled as the member of the campaign.
Significantly, taking forward the Swach Bharat campaign, panchayat representatives in order to make the people of Bagbera Colony aware of cleanliness have started a unique initiative.
The residents have been told not to throw the leftovers here and there but keep in a bin outside their house.
A garbage vehicle will come daily and pick up the waste from outside their houses and once in a month sewer and road will also be cleaned.
The residents of the colony are providing their full support to the panchayat representative. On day 2, residents of bagbera colony road no 5 will be made members.
