London, April 27 (IANS) Singer Geri Halliwell’s wedding won’t see a Spice Girls reunion, as former bandmates Melanie C and Victoria Beckham will reportedly not be able to attend the celebration.
According to a source, the 42-year-old wanted to get her bandmates back together for her nuptials to Christian Horner, but work commitments have got in the way. While Beckham will be out of the country, Mel C has signed up for a TV role on “Asia’s Got Talent” on the same date, reports mirror.co.uk.
It’s not known whether Emma Bunton will be able to attend, but Mel B is flying in from Los Angeles – where she now lives – to witness Halliwell’s wedding.
“Of course (Beckham and Mel C) wish her the best for her big day but won’t be able to be there in person. Fortunately, Mel B is heading back to attend,” the source said.
Halliwell, 42, and Formula 1 boss Horner, 41, will marry in a few weeks at West London�s Syon House – a stately home owned by the Duke of Northumberland.
