Beneficiaries to get Jaipur Foot, hearing aid and calipers free of cost

Jamshedpur: A mega welfare camp for the uniquely-abled people was organized at Town Hall in Sidhgora on Monday under the aegis of East Singhbhum district administration in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Jaipur.
Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar was present on the occasion as chief guest. He met the beneficiaries including a youth from Seraikela and motivated them. He said uniquely-abled persons were being provided artificial limbs as per their need.
The camp organizers said the camp would be held continuously till 14th February. Every day, beneficiaries would be provided Jaipur Foot, hearing aid and calipers at the camp between 8 am and 1 pm. As per the directive issued by the state government, a target of providing artificial limbs to at least 100 beneficiaries per day has been set by the district administration, organizers said.
