Medical treatment grant provisions

Saraikela, Nov 23: Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Alam Ansari today held a meeting with district and Block officials and directed that all applications received from the needy segments for treatment purposes be handled sensitively and treatment facilities be provided to them as per provisions of the medical treatment grant. The DC directed all Block Welfare Officers to coordinate with panchayat Mukhiyas and Parishad members in matters of selecting prsons qualified for the grant. He made teams BDOs of each Block in the district and the Block Welfare Officers to function as coordinators for the purpose. District Welfare Officer Laxman Harijan that the grant would benefit people of the district who were suffering from serious ailments. Those present in the meeting were DDC Pravin Kumar Gagrai, SDO Saraikela Ram Krishna Kumar, District Welfare Officer Laxman Harijan, LDMs and all Block Welfare Officers.
