Jamshedpur: In a friendly cricket match held at Keenan Stadium on Sunday, DC XI secured a 22-run victory over the Press Club of Jamshedpur. After winning the toss, Press Club captain Kumar Bhavanand opted to bowl first. DC XI put up a total of 110 runs for four wickets in 15 overs, with Rural SP Rishabh Garg scoring 33 runs off 28 balls, while Ratan contributed 11 runs off nine balls. Captain deputy commissioner Ananya Mittal added 8 runs. Rakesh Mishra took one wicket for the Press Club team.
Chasing the target, Press Club XI managed only 88 runs for five wickets in 15 overs. Raghavendra scored 18 runs off 15 balls, while Jaiprakash made 16 runs off 20 balls.
For his all-round performance, Rural SP Rishabh Garg was awarded the Man of the Match, presented by social worker Shekhar Dey.
