Mason dies after being hit by Hyva in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 8: A mason died and another was seriously injured after being hit by a Hyva on Friday night near Mannat Hotel at Maheshpur Chowk on NH 18 under the Baharagora PS in East Singhbhum district. The deceased was identified as Gangadhar Rana (33), a resident of Nutandih village under Guhiyapal Panchayat and the injured as Ramsheshwar Munda (37), of Chhota Asanboni village. The body of the deceased mason was sent to Ghatshila for post-mortem on Saturday morning, while, the police seized the vehicle and started investigation. According to reports Gangadhar Rana and Ramsheshwar Munda were returning home on their bicycle after work. While crossing the road, they got hit by a Hyva. After receiving information about the accident, police reached the site and took both the injured to Baharagora Community Health Center. The doctor declared Gangadhar Rana dead after examination. Rameshwar Munda was given first aid, but seeing his serious condition, he was referred to PRM Medical College, Baripada.
