Marwari Sammelan Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit to Senior Police Officials in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur (Mail News Service): A delegation of the East Singhbhum District Marwari Sammelan paid a courtesy visit to senior police officials of the district on Tuesday, reinforcing community–administration cooperation and mutual goodwill.

The delegation, led by District President Mukesh Mittal, met the Senior Superintendent of Police, the Rural SP, and the City SP at their respective offices in Jamshedpur. During the visit, the Sammelan representatives felicitated the police officials with bouquets, traditional shawls, and Rajasthani safas, while also extending New Year greetings.

The interaction was held in a cordial atmosphere, with discussions focusing on strengthening law and order, enhancing public safety, and promoting social harmony across the city. The delegation also briefed the police officials about the Sammelan’s upcoming social and cultural programmes and expressed hope for continued cooperation from the district administration.

On the occasion, the representatives placed on record their special appreciation for the police administration’s swift detection of a theft case reported in December at the Goyal Bandhu apartment on D’Costa Road in Jugsalai, terming it an example of effective policing.

Senior police officials assured the delegation of all possible support and cooperation in future initiatives aimed at social welfare and maintaining communal harmony.

Those present during the visit included provincial Vice President Nand Kishore Agarwal, District General Secretary Pradeep Kumar Mishra, along with Akash Shah, Ankush Jawanpuriya, and Kashidih Marwari Samaj President Kashidih Marwari Samaj President.
