Ravi Shankar Shukla appointed Seraikela-Kharsawan DC
Jamshedpur, July 25: The Jharkhand government has undertaken a major administrative reshuffle by transferring 13 IAS officers. Among the notable changes, Vijaya Jadhav, who served as the DC of East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur), has been removed from the position. Manjunath Bhajantri, the former DC of Deoghar, has been appointed as the new DC of Jamshedpur.
As for Vijaya Jadhav, she has not yet been assigned a new posting. Similarly, another significant transfer involved the DC of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, where Ravi Shankar Shukla, who previously held the post of DC in Jamshedpur, has now been appointed as the DC of Seraikela-Kharsawan. Before this new assignment, Ravi Shankar Shukla served as the DC of Dumka.
In addition to these changes, A Dodde, the former DC of Palamu, has been designated as the new DC of Dumka. Furthermore, Shashibhushan Mehra, who was the DDC of Giridih, has been appointed as the DC of Jamtara.
Another notable appointment is that of Mrityunjay Kumar Barnwal, who was serving as the Registrar of Cooperation Committees. He has now been assigned the position of DC of Pakur.
This series of transfers was executed by the Jharkhand government in an effort to restructure the administrative landscape and optimize the roles of these IAS officers in various districts.
