Dr. Gadicherla Suman, MD, PGDGM, MAMS, a distinguished expert, shared profound insights on “Shaping the Future of India through Sustainable Practices in Biomedical Waste Management in Medical Colleges.” The event aimed to enlightened students and faculty members on sustainable practices that not only safeguard health and the environment but also enhance the cost-efficiency of medical institutions.
The seminar encouraged a collective commitment to a healthier India by fostering environmental consciousness among future healthcare practitioners.

Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC), located in Baridih, Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum District, Jharkhand, stands as a premium institution for medical education and training. A groundbreaking consortium initiative between Tata Steel and MAHE Manipal, MTMC is recognized as an Institution of Eminence (IOE) by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, through a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in October 2020.
As the first private-private partnership in the country, MTMC plays a vital role in augmenting the availability of trained doctors, enhancing healthcare facilities, and contributing to the well-being of the local population. This initiative also addresses the need for increased medical seats, empowering aspirants in Jharkhand to pursue quality medical education.
