Jamshedpur: A crucial meeting regarding the upcoming Mango Municipal Corporation elections was held today at the Niranjan Singh Complex in Mango. The meeting was chaired by social worker Ganesh Singh, while Vinod Dey conducted the proceedings and Kashinath Prajapati delivered the vote of thanks.
During the meeting, a unanimous resolution was passed stating that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) must announce its mayoral candidate within the next 48 hours. Failing this, the Mango Jan Seva Samiti will be free to explore all available alternatives for the mayoral post.
Participants noted that the people of Mango have, for the first time, received the right to a third voting option, generating significant enthusiasm among voters who are keen to support a competent candidate. The meeting was organized with this objective in mind.
Addressing the gathering, Ganesh Singh said that keeping the Mango Municipal Corporation elections in view, potential candidates for all 23 wards have already been prepared. He added that Mango Jan Seva Samiti is fully prepared to work with complete strength and capacity for these candidates. However, he expressed concern that the delay by NDA’s top leadership in announcing the mayoral candidate has created confusion among the public.
He urged the NDA leadership to clarify its stand within 48 hours so that the people of Mango and NDA workers can openly campaign in support of the announced candidate. Otherwise, he reiterated, Mango Jan Seva Samiti would remain independent to exercise all its options regarding the mayoral candidature.
Prominent attendees at the meeting included LJP district president Satish Singh, Sushil Singh of the Ex-Servicemen Service Council, Yuva Morcha (Mango Mandal) president Sushil Pandey, Chunchun Chaudhary, Vikas Sahni, Ulidih Mandal president Praveen Singh, Jitendra Saw, Sanjeet Sharma, Bambam Pandey, Ravi Gorai, Prem Saxena, Nandlal Gupta, Tuntun Kumar, Rajesh Singh (Baliguma), Rakesh Sinha, Tinku Singh, student leader Pawan Singh, Jansuvidha MLA representative Pintu Singh, JDU Yuva state executive member Hemant Pathak, and several other distinguished personalities.
