Jamshedpur: In order to protect residents from mosquitoes, flies, and mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria and dengue, Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) has intensified its daily fogging operations across the municipal area.
Acting on the directions of Sub-Divisional Commissioner Krishna Kumar, regular fogging is being carried out in various areas of Mango Municipal Corporation along with cleanliness drives.
Special emphasis has been laid on preventive measures to curb the spread of seasonal diseases. On Tuesday, fogging was conducted in several localities along Old Purulia Road and Dimna Road.
For effective implementation, a special fogging team has been constituted, which has been instructed to follow a fixed daily route plan and ensure consistent coverage of municipal areas.
Officials stated that the fogging drive is a continuous effort aimed at safeguarding public health and minimizing the risk of mosquito-related illnesses. Residents have been urged to co-operate with the municipal teams and maintain cleanliness in their surroundings.
