Mango Municipal Corporation deploys sweeping machines for cleaning job

Jamshedpur, May 23: As per the instructions of Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) Executive Officer Deepak Sahay, special cleanliness drives were being conducted with sweeping machines in the agency’s command areas.

Bleaching powder was being sprayed in and around the spots from where garbage was lifted. Cleaning of large and small drains were also being carried out in Mango. Door-to-door waste collection had also been undertaken in several MMC areas including Azad Basti, Dimna Road and Old Purulia Road. MMC Executive Officer Deepak Sahay said that special cleanliness drives had been launched in the entire MMC command areas in view of the ensuing Cleanliness Survey – 2022. He said that he would supervise the cleanliness work being conducted. The MMC Executive Officer had issued strict instructions to the supervisors and staff concerned to make cleanliness drive every day a priority. City Manager Jitendra Kumar and Sanitation Supervisor Kumar Anshuman had been instructed to ensure daily cleaning and sanitation work in all MMC areas.
