Jamshedpur, March 19: Deputy Mayor of Mango Municipal Corporation, Rahul Singh Kashyap, paid a courtesy visit to Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy at his residence-cum-office in Bistupur on Thursday evening and sought his blessings following his recent election.
Congratulating him on his victory, Roy extended his wishes and marked the occasion by offering sweets.
He, along with Ashutosh Roy, also felicitated the Deputy Mayor by draping him with an Angavastram as a gesture of goodwill.
During the meeting, Rahul Singh requested Roy’s support and guidance in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Mango Municipal Corporation. In response, Roy assured full cooperation and emphasized the need for transparent and accountable governance.
He advised the Deputy Mayor to prioritize public welfare, ensure that only the right work is carried out, and prevent any irregularities within the civic body.
Highlighting a key concern, Roy pointed out the severe water crisis in the municipal area and urged immediate steps to streamline and improve drinking water supply for residents.
Several individuals, including Ashutosh Roy, Subodh Srivastava, Pintu Singh, Abhay, Shubham, Hare Ram alias Hari, and Aditya, were present during the meeting.
