Potka: The election for the formation of the block level Kamal Club in Potka concluded here on Friday. Mangal Pan was elected president of Kamal Club in Potka while Haldhar Das was defeated. Munilal Sardar was elected secretary, defeating Ramesh Modak. The presidents of Kamal Clubs of 29 panchayats of Potka and 26 secretaries cast their votes. The election was conducted under the supervision of BDO PC Das, CO Dwarika Baitha, JSS Premnath Prasad, Twenty Point Programme Committee president Manoj Ram and block head Sukurmani Tudu. The working committee members elected today include Shankar Gope, Ramchandra Mahali, Kaushik Mandal and Shyampado Bhakt.
