Jamshedpur : The 2013 edition of Ensemble, the three-day management summit of XLRI, is being held from November 15 to 17. This year too, over 1500 teams from all over India have already registered for various management events.
The preliminary rounds of these events are currently being conducted online and only select teams will be invited to XLRI for the final rounds.
The events cut across all business domains, from finance and marketing to operations and HR and offer total prize money worth a whopping Rs. 15 lakhs.
One of the big ticket events scheduled at this years’ fest is the TAS Next Gen Leader which aims to discover future leaders through a series of challenging competitions.
The event is open only for select b-school campuses including the top IIMs and will see representatives from each campus go head to head in order to win the coveted title of TAS Next Gen Leader and walk away with a prize money totalling Rs 1 lakhs.
The competition is designed to test not only the content knowledge and expertise of the participants but also their mental strength and character so as to identify individuals who have it in them to become great leaders in the future.
A host of other management events are also slated to generate excitement among the b-school crowds. The events endeavour to provide a wholesome experience to participants by bringing in more innovative formats including online quizzes, case studies, simulations as well as implementation of strategies in real-life market situations.
Along with organization of management competitions, Ensemble also aims to provide a platform of interaction between students and business leaders through the “Idea Summit”.
The event fosters discussions on important business issues and provides an opportunity to students to listen to the business leaders and get inspired by them.
With over 40 events lined up to be held in three days, Ensemble this year promises to create new benchmarks of success while simultaneously delivering on its promise of executing high quality events and providing an enriching industry-student interface.
