Jamshedpur, Feb. 25: Congress Biruli, a resident of Haludbani Kochakholi under the jurisdiction of Parsudih police station area near here, sustained a bullet injury in his chest when his neighbor Sitaram Sharma shot at him in broad daylight on Thursday. The incident occurred around 2.30 p.m.
According to sources, Biruli was shot while he was on his way to Subodh Lohar�s house. Sharma suddenly fired a few rounds at him and fled the scene. When Subodh received the information, he rushed a profusely bleeding Biruli to TMH, where his condition is said to be critical.
Parsudih police station in-charge BK Chaturvedi rushed to TMH and took the statement of Congress Biruli.
The police have already launched a hunt to apprehend Sitaram and assured that they will arrest the culprit soon.
Congress leader Bharat Singh also visited the TMH and inquired about his health.
