Jamshedpur, Sep 26: One Mohammad Azad of Garib Nawaz Colony, Jugsalai, lost his one leg after coming under a goods train near Parvati Ghat, Adityapur, on Sunday evening. His two friends, Sonu and Irshad, allegedly pushed him under the train over a dispute related to money, police said.
Police said the accused persons took Azad to Parvati Ghat and offered him liquor. After some time, the two demanded Rs 200 from him. When Azad refused, his friends took him near the railway tracks and pushed him before a goods train. Azad was critically injured in the mishap. One of his legs was severed in the incident, police said.
