Jamshedpur: A 32 year-old man committed suicide with his minor daughter and son by jumping before a train near Rakha Mines railway station on Saturday.
He was identified as Gauri Mohan Bhakat, father of twin children Vishal Bhakat and Deepa Bhakat, both 7 year old. Deepa died at the scene while Vishal was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Sources said the incident took place at 3 pm when the man decided to end his life as well as those of his children.
Both Gauri Mohan and his daughter were killed in the incident. The boy was critically wounded in the incident. He was taken to the hospital by the railway police.
Railway police officials said they had registered a case of suicide in this connection and sent the bodies to the government hospital for autopsy.
