Jamshedpur: One Sanjay Singh, resident of Ramdas Bhatta, died in a road accident at Garamnala Road, Sakchi, on Tuesday.
His daughter Priyanka Singh who accompanied him was injured in the incident, police said.
Sources said the deceased succumbed to critical injuries after being hit by a speeding car near Garamnala under Sakchi police station area in the evening.
The incident occurred when the motorcycle of the deceased was knocked down by the car.
The deceased was taken to Tata Main Hospital where he died during treatment, sources said.
