Chaibasa, Sep 28: The court of Principal District and Sessions Judge of West Singhbhum sentenced one Dilip Bodra to seven years of imprisonment for allegedly beating his wife to death. It also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.
The case dates back to 30th July 2020 when Dole Hansda, father of Prithvi Hansda, was informed about the death of his daughter. As per the information, Dole had badly beaten up his wife Prithvi which subsequently led to her death. An FIR was lodged against Dilip Bodra in this connection.
